The tournament's first winner was Maurice Bembridge, the first of Bembridge's just two victories on the European Seniors Tour. But Bembridge won by seven strokes, which remained the tournament's record for largest margin of victory.
Tommy Horton is second on the list of golfers with the most European Seniors Tour wins with 23, and one of those was in the Jersey Seniors Classic in 1997. ... European Tour legend Neil Coles was 65 years old when he won the tournament in 2000. That made him the tour's oldest winner, but he broke his own record two years later at age 67 when he won the last of his nine circuit victories.
Delroy Cambridge, the first Jamaican golfer to win on the European Seniors Tour, was the tournament's only 2-time winner until Richard Green won back-to-back in the Jersey Legends' final two years.
