Notes: This was a dominating win for Team USA, which did not lose a match until the final singles session. In the first 12 matches played, GB&I earned only two points. As of this Curtis Cup, the American side had won every one since 1960, and hadn't lost since the 1956 Curtis Cup.

In her only Curtis Cup appearance, future Hall of Famer Patty Sheehan went 4-0-0 for Team USA.

Terri Moody's appearance for Team USA created the second sister-and-brother duo who both played in the Curtis Cup and Walker Cup. Terri's brother Griff played in the 1979 Walker Cup. (The Bonallacks, Sally and Michael, were the first to achieve this distinction.)
