2017 World Golf Rankings: No. 1, Top 50 at End of Year

Which golfers finished the year 2017 in the Top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking? Who was No. 1 at the end of 2017? Below is the year-end list of 2017's top-ranked golfers.

Dustin Johnson was ranked No. 1 at the end of 2017 after winning four times on the PGA Tour during the calendar year, including two WGC events. Those wins were the Genesis Open, WGC Mexico Championship, WGC Dell Technologies Match Play and The Northern Trust.

Comparing the above end-of-2017 rankings with the end-of-2016 rankings, the biggest jump from outside the Top 50 into the Top 50 from 2016 to 2017 was by Patrick Cantlay, who moved from No. 1866 to No. 38. Jon Rahm went from No. 137 at the end of 2016 to No. 4; Xander Schauffele from No. 299 to No. 25.
