Defending champion: Justin Thomas won the 2022 PGA Championship in a playoff over Will Zalatoris. Thomas shot 67 in the final round to tie Zalatoris, who carded a final-round 71. In the 3-hole, aggregate-score playoff, Thomas won by a stroke.

Major Winners at Oak Hill Country Club
The PGA Championship rotates to golf courses around the United States, and is the second major on the men's golf schedule each year (after The Masters, before the U.S. Open). In 2023, the tournament returns to Oak Hill, near Rochester, N.Y., and to the club's East Course, designed by Donald Ross.The 2023 PGA Championship will be the fourth time the major takes place at Oak Hill.
