2016 Women's World Golf Rankings: No. 1, Top 50 at End of Year

Lydia Ko finished 2016 at No. 1 in the rankings. Ko won four times on the LPGA Tour during the year, including one major championship, the ANA Inspiration. Her other LPGA wins in 2016 were the Kia Classic, Walmart NW Arkansas Championship and Marathon Classic. She finished second in another major, the Women's PGA Championship, after getting into a playoff. Ko also won the New Zealand Women's Open in 2016.
