TimberTech Championship (Allianz Championship) on Champions Tour
First played: 2007
Last played: 2023
Note that when the TimberTech Championship was discontinued after the 2023 tournament, another senior tour event was launched and played on the same golf course. That following tournament, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Classic, was not considered a continuation of the TimberTech, however, but a new, separate tournament.
Also known as: This tournament was named the Allianz Championship when it debuted in 2007 and through 2017. It was called the Boca Raton Championship in 2018, and Oasis Championship in 2019. From 2020 through 2023, it was the TimberTech Championship.

The tournament's only multiple champion was Bernhard Langer, who won it three times, in 2010, 2019 and 2022. And Langer was second or tied for second in four more years (2013, 2018, 2020, 2023).
Langer's first win in 2010 was via playoff. In his second, in 2019, he set the tournament's 54-hole scoring record of 197 (later tied by Padraig Harrington in 2023). And in his third victory in 2022, Langer, at age 65 years, 2 months, 10 days, became the oldest winner in Champions Tour history — a record he broke several more times after. His first victory in this event was his ninth on the senior circuit, while his third win was his 44th on the Champions Tour.
The tournament's 18-hole scoring record was set by Michael Allen with a 60 in the first round in 2014. Allen went on to the victory with a 198 total (also a record at the time, later bettered by Langer).
The tournament record for largest margin of victory was Harrington's 7-stroke winning edge in 2023.
In its final three years (2021-23), the TimberTech Championship was part of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, the season-ending portion of the Champions Tour schedule.
Golf course: Throughout its run, this tournament was played on the Old Course at Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton, Florida. As noted above, in 2024 a new Champions Tour event was created and played on the same golf course, but was classified by the tour as a new, separate tournament and not a continuation of the TimberTech.
