Worst Single-Hole Scores in Korn Ferry Tour History

What are the highest scores in Korn Ferry Tour history on a single hole? The PGA Tour's developmental tour keeps this record by hole type, so listed below are the highest scores in tour history on a par-3, on a par-4 and on a par-5. But what about the overall record? That's a 17.

The Record-High Score: 17

If you're a professional tour golfer (or any golfer, for that matter), you never want your name and "Tin Cup" used in the same sentence.

But that's exactly what happened to Ben DeArmond following the first round of the Korn Ferry's Lecom Suncoast Classic in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

That's because DeArmond, making his Korn Ferry Tour debut that day, recorded the highest score in tour history. And he did it in classic "Tin Cup" style, by hitting one ball after another in the water.

DeArmond scored a 17, the highest single-hole score ever on the Korn Ferry Tour, on the par-4 second hole at Lakewood National Golf Club. DeArmond was in the tournament on a sponsor invitation. He is a club pro, not a full-time touring pro, and is the head pro at the nearby TPC at Treviso Bay.

The par-4 second hole at Lakewood National was playing 491 yards. DeArmond's troubles were all about water: He plunked six balls into the drink. But at least he one-putted the green!

DeArmond's final score for the round was 19-over-par 91.
