Women's College Golf Team Champions

The women's college golf championship today is awarded at the Division I NCAA Women's Golf Championship tournament. That event takes place in May every year following a series of regional tournaments that whittle the field.

From 1982-2014, the tournament was stroke play. Beginning in 2015, the tournament switched to a combined stroke play/match play format. Four rounds of stroke play determine the women's college golf individual champions, and whittle the teams down to eight remaining. Those eight teams then play match play to determine the team champion.
