The U.S. Senior Open is one of the USGA's national championships and rotates to different golf courses around the country each year. It is usually played in late June or early July. The tournament is also one of the five majors of men's senior professional golf. Founded in 1980, it is the second-oldest (after the Senior PGA Championship) senior major.
