European Tour Moroccan Open Tournament

The Moroccan Open was a professional golf tournament on the European Tour that was played from the late 1980s into the early 2000s. It was the tour's second-ever tournament staged in North Africa.

First played: 1987

Last played: 2001

The Moroccan Open was a 72-hole, stroke-play tournament. It followed the Tunisian Open, the European Tour's first North African event. The Moroccan Open was played once in 1987, then skipped five years before returning in 1992. There were earlier tournaments known as the Moroccan Open that pre-date the European Tour's creation in 1972.
