What are the lowest, 72-hole stroke totals in U.S. Senior Open history? Only a handful of golfers have yet finished this senior major in fewer than 270 strokes.

The current record is a total of 261, which was the winning score made by Steve Stricker in 2019. Stricker carded four rounds under 70, opening with a 62 (which tied the U.S. Senior Open 18-hole scoring record). He won by six strokes.

The U.S. Senior Open is run by the United States Golf Association and was first played in 1980. It is one of the five major championships of men's 50-and-over professional golf.
