Golfers Who Won U.S. Women's Open, Women's British Open in Same Year
The U.S. Women's Open and Women's British Open are two of the major championships of women's professional golf. The USWO is also the USGA's national championship, while the WBO is the R&A's national championship. Winning one in any given year is a major achievement. Winning both in the same year is very rare achievement.

How rare? It has only been possible to win both in the same year since 1976, when the Women's British Open was first played (the USWO dates to 1946). And since 1976, only one golfer has won both these tournaments in the same year:
- Patty Sheehan, 1992: Sheehan won the 1992 U.S. Women's Open in July, then in September added the Women's British Open title — becoming the first, and so far only, golfer to win both tournaments in the same year.
Sheehan needed an 18-hole playoff to win the USWO. She beat Juli Inkster in that playoff, 72 to 74. It was the first of Sheehan's two wins in the USWO, the third of her six career wins in majors.
The 1992 WBO was shortened to 54 holes due to rain, and Sheehan carded a 67 in the final round to win by three strokes over runner-up Corinne Dibnah. The Women's British Open was not a major championship at the time, however (it didn't become a major until 2001).
- Laura Davies, 1987: Won U.S. Women's Open, tied second in Women's British Open
- Annika Sorenstam, 1995: Won U.S. Women's Open, tied second in Women's British Open
- Se Ri Pak, 2001: Won Women's British Open, solo second in U.S. Women's Open
