U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Courses: Where They've Played

Old Waverly is one of the US Womens Amateur golf courses

The U.S. Women's Amateur Championship is the premiere women's amateur golf tournament on the schedule every year, and is run by the United States Golf Association.

If you want to play where the future champions of women's golf have played, then you need to know all the golf courses that have hosted the tournament. And that list is here.

Which golf course has been the site of the most U.S. Women's Amateur tournaments? Two courses share the record, each hosting four times:

  • Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa. (1904, 1909, 1926, 1949)
  • Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, R.I. (1924, 1953, 1987, 2011)
