The 35th Curtis Cup match was the first one played under an expanded, three-day, Ryder Cup-style format. Team USA was the victor, and with this result the overall series standing was 25 wins for the USA, seven for GB&I, with three ties.

Notes: The Curtis Cup had always used the same format as the Walker Cup: two days, foursomes and singles both days. But this year, the tournament added four-balls and switched to a three-day schedule, doubles matches the first two days and singles matches on Day 3.

Team GB&I failed to win any of five sessions of play, managing to halve only the Day 2 foursomes session. ... Stacy Lewis posted a 5-0-0 record, the first Curtis Cup golfer to do so.
