Arnold Palmer Recipes: 11 Delicious Variations on the Original

On this page you'll find variations on the basic recipe for an Arnold Palmer drink. The basic Arnold Palmer is half iced tea (unsweetened), half lemonade. (Or, if you want to make it exactly the way Arnie did, go around two-thirds tea and one-third lemonade — Palmer used the lemonade as the sweetener for the tea.) But there are many ways to add a twist, to add different flavors to the mix. And those are the recipes you'll find below.

(Note that there are many alcoholic Arnold Palmer recipes, too. Here, though, we focus on the non-alcoholic recipes.)

For each of the non-alcoholic recipes below, we give you the list of ingredients plus a link to the original recipe. You can probably figure out the directions for putting each of these Arnold Palmers together, but if you need help click the link to view the original and its instructions.

Mint Arnold Palmer
• 3 heaping teaspoons black tea (preferably Ceylon black tea)
• 2 cups boiling water
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• The juice from 2 large lemons
• The leaves from 4 sprigs of mint
• 3 cups ice cubes or crushed ice, plus extra for serving

• Frozen lemonade concentrate
• Simmering water (1/2 the amount called for on the lemonade package)
• 1 teaspoon green tea leaves for each cup of simmering water

• 16 ice cubes (about 1 ice tray worth), plus more for each glass
