2018 PGA Championship Winner and Scores

The 2018 PGA Championship was the 100th time this major was played. And the winner earned it with a record-low score.

Winner: Brooks Koepka, 264

Where it was played: Bellerive Country Club in Town and Country, Missouri

Tournament dates: Aug. 9-12, 2018

Leader after first round: Gary Woodland, 64

Leader after second round: Gary Woodland, 130

Leader after third round: Brooks Koepka, 198

What Happened in the 2018 PGA Championship

Brooks Koepka won his third major championship overall and his second of 2018 after claiming the U.S. Open a couple months earlier. But he had to hold off Tiger Woods to do it, winning with a record-breaking score.

Woods, winless in majors since 2008 and winless overall since 2013, began the final round tied for sixth place and four strokes off Koepka's 54-hole lead. And then Woods went out and shot 64, the best final-round score in a major in Woods' career.

But Koepka was more than up to the challenge. He fired his own 66 in the final round (matching his third-round score) and won by two strokes over runner-up Woods.

Koepka's winning total of 264 established a new PGA Championship scoring record and tied the overall major championship scoring record in place at this time.
